My Genuine Feeling Toward The Movie – Lord of The Rings
Who missed the world of Frodo? I miss the Shire. I miss Gondor. That city has a kind of feeling it evokes in me. A feeling of kingship
I miss Aragorn. I miss Legolas. I miss Gimli. I miss Gandalf. I miss Sam. I miss Eowen. I miss Bilbo Baggins. It’s weird but I also miss Smeagol.
When Boromir died, I actually felt very sad. These movies always like to break my heart with the deaths of important personalities. To be fair, this movie brings out the cry baby in a man. The scene when Frodo had to part with his shire folks and go with Gandalf into the undying lands made me so sad. I shed a tear watching it.
I hope that movie continues. I have seen so many interesting movies with great storylines but I want to say that Lord of the Rings is just more than a movie. It feels so real. It is a fantasy that wants to come to life.
I can’t get over it. I want to be in that world again. The world of Middle-earth. That’s why I always watch the movie once every 5 months. It is so inspiring and contains everything I love; ADVENTURE, FIELDS, MOUNTAINS, STREAMS, RIVERS, KINGSHIP, AND GREAT FEAR.
I miss Merry and Pippin. Those two folks loved to enjoy their lives. After the war at Isengard, in the scene where the two half-lings sat on a roof eating salted pork, I was immediately hungry for meat.
When I watched that part where the Fellowship of the Ring had to go through the Mines of Moria, I just imagined myself being there and getting rounded by those horrible-looking goblins. I keep thinking of what I would have done in that situation. Well, I would have screamed so hard like a newly birthed baby.
It was not long before I got scared even more. “A balrog” Gandalf revealed with a familiar look on his face “A demon of the ancient world.” He continued as the monster drew closer.
I could see the fear in Gandalf’s eyes at this point. This was the only part where I saw the man genuinely scared. Even Saruman had reminded him of this creature beforehand. When Gandalf eventually fell with the Balrog after an intense fight, I was devastated. The man was the leader of the pack of Middle Earth heroes. I feel very bad when it gets to that part.
Fast forward to the war at Gondor in which Faramir was the leader of the troops. I was also pained and helpless when Frodo pulled out the sword on Sam.
It was so depressing seeing Sam looking at his only Frodo pulling out a sword at him. I was completely helpless and heartbroken.
The little talk that preceded that incidence not only inspires me to this day but is one of the best pieces of advice I probably will ever hear anywhere in life. Sam said, “There is some good in this world and it’s worth fighting for.” That statement was as real as a heart attack.
Only one movie packed with so much adventure, emotions, and big life lessons.
Minas Tirith is also such a beautiful place that’s worth some review. I like the fact that it was called – The City of Kings. The architecture of this city was so impressive. Look at the majestic white view and the perfect dark clouds that blended so well with the whole view. Due to the city’s stunning architecture and its role in the movie, it has become my dream home and where I would love to spend my life on earth.
I have never seen a friendship like this in my life. Not in any other movie, not in real life. Frodo and Sam were a perfect duo. They were a perfect match for that journey.
Are we ever going to see something like Lord of the Rings again?
My biggest lesson from this movie is that no matter how small or unimportant you may think you are, you can still change the fate of the world.
